For a year now we have all been facing an exceptional situation, which we are called to face with courage, responsibility and solidarity. We at Relais Casamassima have immediately taken steps to guarantee you a safe holiday, without sacrificing relaxation, the services offered and the good time you can spend during your stay.

Relais Casamassima: a safe oasis of tranquility for your next vacation

As you can see from our website, the Relais Casamassima has a great advantage over other accommodation facilities. It is in fact located in the countryside, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards owned by us and bordered by a private fence, but it is also easily accessible and not far from the historic center of Perugia and the big cities (less than two hours by car to Rome and Florence) .

In the immediate nearby there are woods and paths through which you can walk for a long time (on foot or by mountain bike) contemplating nature in all serenity and safety, since our relais in located in the center of one of the most beautiful areas of Italy, rich in history and of traditions, with many small villages (some of the most beautiful in Italy: Spello, Gubbio, Deruta, Corciano, Castiglione del Lago and many others) and cities of art (Perugia, Orvieto, Siena, Assisi, Arezzo), all reachable and visited in a short time with your own car. 

We will be happy to suggest natural routes of various difficulties, through the precious advice of the owner, Anna Casamassima, member of the Italian Alpine Club and passionate about excursions.

Our Suites have independent entrances and have external areas or private terraces, all within a large private area bordered with large green garden. 
When you are not around to visit the surroundings, or to walk in the woods, there is lot of space at your disposal to sunbathe, read a good book, cool off with a bath in the pool, receive a massage in the Suite, in the garden or by the pool, sip a glass of wine and maybe in the evening, upon request, stop for dinner at the property. 

If during your stay you need to continue working remotely, you can do so using our free wifi network with superfast connection, accessible in every area of ​​the relais. 

We prepared to handle the situation in the way that seemed right to us, that is, first of all by ensuring large flexibility in the cancellation policy for direct bookings received from the site or by phone / email, and carefully planning which additional measures to take when reopening.  

Online check-in, distancing and personal hygiene

Unfortunately, since last season, we had to give up our usual affectionate handshakes at check-in and the many hugs at check-out to prefer a safer and faster online check-in, in order to collect all the information we need for administrative purposes. Details of the procedure will be provided to you by email at the time of booking.

In the common areas, everyone is invited to respect, with reasonableness, measures of distancing and personal hygiene that we know well by now. To facilitate the cleaning of hands and any personal items, we have made available some dispensers with suitable products in the main common areas of the relais.ggetti personali, abbiamo messo a disposizione alcuni dispenser con prodotti adeguati nelle principali zone comuni del relais.

We have also increased the frequency of cleaning in the open and closed common areas by using specific disinfectants. 

Adoption of the best cleaning standards

At Relais Casamassima we have always taken the utmost care in cleaning all internal and external spaces, and we are committed day by day to maintain and raise these standards even more. The current situation, in fact, requires even greater attention. infatti, impone ancora maggiore attenzione. 

For this reason, for example, when cleaning the premises, the staff will always wear a protective mask and disposable gloves. In each cleaning cycle, an additional specific disinfection of all surfaces and objects of common use will be carried out with suitable detergents.

All this will make the cleaning operations longer. In some cases, therefore, the Suites may be available, on the day of arrival, only in the late afternoon, after 4 pm, but we are sure that you will understand the situation and that this is first of all in your interest.

Extra services

We will try to satisfy even further requests from our guests related to the current situation, as we have always done, within the limits of the capabilities and availability of our staff.
